So I ordered an American Custom Shop Cherry Sunburst flame top LaVoce. What an awesome, awesome guitar. Better than advertised. Over the years I played mostly Gibson SG’s and an occasional Les Paul, not to mention a couple of Telecasters. I’m not sure how to put it in to words, but the LaVoce just feels perfect, expensive, pure quality. The finish and workmanship is on a different level. At rehearsal, it’s amazing. The things I never knew thought of were addressed… With thinner bodied guitars like my 60’s SG’s the neck would dive as soon as you’d let them go while wearing them. The LaVoce? Perfectly balanced, no neck dive. I didn’t even know I needed the Z Glide neck, once again better be than advertised. The different available tones were eye opening. My wife suggested if I’d like to not play it she’d like to hang it on the wall like a high dollar art piece. The tremolo??? …also perfect, with an art deco look to it. Beautiful clean tones AND one hell of a rock and roll guitar. Thank you so very much, it was well worth the wait.

USA ENGRAVED SADDLE LAVOCE

Bought the quilt tobacco with rosewood, 7 Lbs 11 Oz, gorgeous top and hardware, sounds so good clean you feel guilty adding anything else to it but when you do it roars. Most comfortable playing of my 40 guitars and in a class of its own. If you see and play this guitar and it does not impress, someone needs to take your pulse. Won't be my last Dean Zelinsky. Also he didn't know me from Adam but texted back and forth with me about 10 times. Extraordinary customer service and the case is one of the nicest I own, if not the nicest! This company is a threat to the high end market from a price and quality standpoint and I'm just afraid he'll get bought out.

I've always wanted a Dean guitar (we Deans should stick together). After some research I was pleased to find Dean Zelinsky has a new operation. I've never bought a guitar without trying it before, so this was a leap of faith based on Mr. Zelinsky's reputation and great reviews. I'm glad I did, I just received my La Voce and played it all day. The biggest question in my mind was if I would like the Z-Glide neck. I do. It was not distracting as I thought it might be, and no learning curve to using it. I cant say it makes me play better, but I can definitely see how it would come in handy if you get sweaty palms. The tones are as advertised, it rivals my customized guitars with upgraded pickups. The playability is fantastic, I really like the feel. The finish is beautiful. Honestly, I think this will be my go-to guitar for anything that doesn't require tremolo dive bomb antics. Great work!

I purchased the green Lahore with blonde neck and case.

As I opened up the case, which itself was really sharp and solid, I found the Lavoce wrapped with some protective foam. All the extra requested part were there! (Just ask Dean, he will take care of you!). The guitar was impeccable, color was simply gorgeous, neck/body balance on your knee is perfect. The neck z-glide took about one minute to get used to and like. I was a bit worried about it before tho, but all good. Setup was about as good as I have ever had so no changes needed there. Just plug it in! Sound is a solid combo of My PRSs, Les Paul and tele, however the level balance of the coil taps and even the piezo were all same level!!!! Awesome!!! Bold sound to be sure and this will go to work immediately. The body is super thin and the weight is great (very light).

I’m very happy with it so far and it has exceeded my expectations so far. I will gig with this and enjoy it! Not saving it for the future!! Ha ha.
