Beautiful at every level

I purchased the green Lahore with blonde neck and case.

As I opened up the case, which itself was really sharp and solid, I found the Lavoce wrapped with some protective foam. All the extra requested part were there! (Just ask Dean, he will take care of you!). The guitar was impeccable, color was simply gorgeous, neck/body balance on your knee is perfect. The neck z-glide took about one minute to get used to and like. I was a bit worried about it before tho, but all good. Setup was about as good as I have ever had so no changes needed there. Just plug it in! Sound is a solid combo of My PRSs, Les Paul and tele, however the level balance of the coil taps and even the piezo were all same level!!!! Awesome!!! Bold sound to be sure and this will go to work immediately. The body is super thin and the weight is great (very light).

I’m very happy with it so far and it has exceeded my expectations so far. I will gig with this and enjoy it! Not saving it for the future!! Ha ha.

Beautiful Work of Art

Wow, what a feeling opening the case for the first time and looking at that beautiful guitar! It could almost just hang on the wall and be worth the price. First impression plugging it in with a quick tuning...it's going to be a lot of fun. There are so many pickup and tone options to explore. I play at home for fun, and this guitar will allow me to play along with all my favorite genres, from metal to country, with a few quick adjustments. The piezo is very cool. I'm really looking forward to having a lot of fun with my new LaVoce.

Amazing guitar: a work of art that is extraordinarily versatile

I recently had Dean Zelinsky's team build me a highly quilted LaVoce with gold hardware and all the bells and whistles, finished in cherry sunburst. To be honest, I bought it mostly as an investment and as a work of art. It was a gorgeous thing when I opened the case, and I just enjoyed looking at it for a couple of weeks. But then I decided to play it. I was blown away by how good it felt, how easily it played, and by the variety of tones available by just flipping a switch or lifting a knob. I was especially blown away by how one of the control knobs also acts as a hidden switch, allowing for the standard pickups, the piezo pickup, or a blend of the two. And lifting the two control knobs that turn the humbuckers into single coils, gives a thinner (Strat-like) sound, with no drop in volume. It allows what feels like an infinity of tone options. Where was this guitar when I needed it (back in my playing days)? Seriously, this is one of the most amazing guitars I've ever played. And yet it is also one of the most beautiful I've ever owned. Everything on this guitar is finished perfectly. The woodwork is amazing, and I can't imagine what machinery (and hand labor) is required to produce something like this. The coating is perfect. I'm a Les Paul guy...that's what I've mostly played over the years. But at my age, this guitar makes me want to forget all about my Gibsons. It's thinner, contoured to my body better, and weighs much less. The neck is a dream (I was already used to the Z-Glide neck) and fills my hand perfectly. The action is perfect for my playing style. If I was playing in a band today, this would be my main instrument! I can't give it any higher recommendation. Thanks Dean and Company for an amazing guitar!

Awesome Sounding !

One of the best feeling and sounding electric guitar I’ve ever played. Such a wide variety of sounds available at the flip of a switch. Quality all the way around. Easy guitar to hold and play for extended periods. Highly recommend this instrument!
