MULE BASS FOUR STRING

I just received my DZPL Mule bass. I called them awhile back to see when they might have one because the website said out of stock. Andy took my call and told me they might de able to help me. He returned to tell me he indeed could build me one if I could wait a 2 or 3 weeks for them to build me one. I agreed. 3 weeks later they shipped to me.
WOW.....it was worth the wait. Out of the box it was great. The fret work and finish was flawless. Great playability. Well done Dean and Andy. I am thinking I might need a guitar now or 2. Thanks guys well done.

Played my new Mule 4-string bass yesterday at church for the first time. Great sound; love the engraved neck. The sound guys came up to me afterward and said it looked great on stage under the lights. The gunmetal gray with tortoise pickguard really stood out. And thanks to Andy at DZ for getting it out to me on time and set up the way I like it. You guys rock, too!

This instrument is a thing of beauty! The finish is superb and the feel of the Z-Glde neck is smooth and great to look at. Very well engineered and has the appearance of a much more expensive Bass. The “Mule” is set up and ready to play, right out of the box. I’ll be back to buy another fantastic instrument from Dean Z.

This is my first Dean Zelinsky bass, and I can honestly say it is superior to many (if not all) of my other guitars. Right out of the box, this work of art looked, felt, and played like a dream. I haven't wanted to put it down. Everything about the instrument is phenomenal. Not only is it easy on the eyes, it sounds great as well. It feels lighter than any of my other basses and is very well balanced. The Z-Glide neck is what prompted me into buying because I had to try it...I really like this feature! Finally, someone is thinking outside the box for a change!
Ordering was seamless as the guys promptly answered all my questions and were patient with me on all occasions.
I would highly recommend this bass to anyone seeking a unique and enjoyable instrument.
Way to go, Dean and crew!
